Model portfolios don’t always include pretty dresses, hair and make up team, or high fashion poses. I had an awesome time photographing the wonderful aspiring model, Nia!

For her model portfolio, she wanted some photos that show off her athletic build and ability to model various athletic apparel in a sports environment. I absolutely loved the vibe of this session, she rocked it out of the park!

For these athletic photos, the words intense, hard work, and perseverance come to mind. If I ever saw these photos in a catalog, I would for sure want to buy this athletic wear.

We not only did standard poses to show off the clothing, but also jumps and some unique athletic ideas. I absolutely loved the photos of her against the fence upside down. I was so taken aback at first when she went over to the fence and decided to do a pose of her own! She looked beautiful, graceful, and modeled the athletic wear so well!

A few other favorites were the ones of Nia stretching. By doing these stretches, it showed off her outfit and her athletic tone and muscles. This model portfolio session was a dream for the vibe and look Nia was going for.

I am really looking forward to more sessions with aspiring models and trying out different looks and styles! I can’t wait to work with Nia again, I can’t wait to see what ideas she comes up with next!
