There are weddings—and then there are weddings. The kind that make you pause, breathe it all in, and realize just how special love and community can be. Katie & Johnathan’s day at The Inn at Leola Village was one of those.

I had the honor of photographing their celebration alongside the incredibly talented Taylor Ann Photography, and from the moment we arrived, it was clear: this day wasn’t just about two people saying “I do.” It was about connection, legacy, and the kind of love that ripples outward.

The venue was stunning. Soft golden light filtered through the gardens, and every detail—from the florals to the color palette—was thoughtfully and beautifully chosen. But what truly took our breath away was the people. The way Katie looked at Johnathan. The way their families laughed, cried, and held each other. The way stories were shared like heirlooms.

One of my favorite moments from the day was learning about their weekly dinners—a tradition where their closest friends and family gather around the table, week after week, to share life, love, and a whole lot of good food. It’s such a beautiful reminder that marriage isn’t just about the couple—it’s about the community that lifts them up.

Katie & Johnathan, thank you for letting us witness the start of this new chapter. Your day was filled with joy, intention, and deep love—and I feel so lucky to have captured it.
