I have been photographing families, kids, couples, and weddings for almost 4 years now. Where has the time gone?? This is one of the first times I am experiencing something many of my clients have or had experienced in their life. In November, Devin proposed to me and we are now engaged! It is very exciting, it actually took me a little while to full realize what all was happening. And then the wedding planning begins…

One of the first and most important vendors I had to book first was the photographer. That is probably the most important part besides actually marrying the love of my life! I am so grateful for all the support with our engagement and wedding planning. We are soon going to have our engagement photos done, and I can 100% tell you that I am actually a bit nervous because I’m usually the photographer!

After starting to plan our wedding, I completely understand all the stress and challenges brides are faced when preparing for their wedding. There is so much to consider. One thing I never thought about is choosing and buying plates and silverware…After fully experiencing this milestone in life, I feel it is so important that all of my brides-to-be feel calm and confident when choosing me to photograph their engagement or wedding. The last thing you need is to be worried about one more thing.

I am sure you all will see our engagement photos soon and I will have to do a part 2 for this blog. For now, enjoy a few adorable shots from Nina & Josh’s engagement session!
