Senior Portrait Session Vs. Class Pictures | Gretchen Elaine Photography Seniors

From the minute your children are born, they are growing at an incredible pace. One minute you are changing diapers and singing along with Seasame Street, and then the next they are getting ready for high school graduation.

Senior year is a fast paced crazy time for everyone. Seniors are getting excited for what the world has to offer, choosing their next steps with college and careers, and saying good bye to long time childhood best friends. For parents, its time for you to reflect life over the past 18 years, anticipate and watching your child take their next steps of growing up and finding their place in the world.

Even though schools require a class picture for the yearbook, doesn’t mean those are the photos you want to look back on later. Usually class pictures are cookie cutter, stiff, poses, with greenscreen backgrounds. I know when I was a senior, my family didn’t bother with purchasing any of them because it wasn’t me.

Senior portrait sessions with me is completely different and customizable. I want your session to emphasize the person your senior is today. You get to choose your location, outfit(s), and if you want to bring along any props to show case your hobbies and interests.

I want your senior to be as comfortable as they can be and show me their personalities. From the class clown, to dancers, to football quarterbacks; I have seen so many different seniors over the past several years, and no session is alike.
